Welcome to November. It seems for DharmaDog Yoga this will be a month of change. While we were very sad to lose one of our favorite instructors, Karah Charette, we have gained a few new instructors. Check out our website at www.dharmadogyoga.com to view our new schedule. Starting this month we will be offering an array of meditation classes led by our newest member of the team, Darlene Bodhorn. Her guided meditations will focus mostly on pain and stress reduction. We are also excited to welcome yoga therapist, Christine Calabrese, D.D.S. As a yoga therapist and dentist, she will share with us her unique knowledge and experience related to chronic pain. She will be offering a workshop at the studio on Friday, November 22nd, as well as Friday evening classes during the month of December. The studio is also excited to have another Master Reiki Practitioner, Carolyn Potopchuk. Carolyn's contact information is located on our website. Reach out to her and schedule an appointment this holiday season. Your chakras will thank you!
We have a couple of new, unique classes on our schedule as well. Colleen is offering Prayers and Postures on Tuesdays at 715 p.m. This class will blend yoga and Christianity. The idea is amazing. Do not miss out. Kasia Dec, our movement expert, is offering her unique and cutting-edge knowledge on the physical body during her Functional Movement class on Thursdays at 515 p.m. Lastly, keep your eyes open for an addition to the November schedule. Jennifer Liberatore will be offering a Yoga Nidra practice in the near future.
As the holiday season is coming upon us it is so important to stay balanced with yoga, meditation and self-care. As humans, we tend to put ourselves last due to all our commitments and responsibilities. Take time for your self these next few months!
Colleen, Jennifer and I are so grateful for everyone's continued support and commitment over the past five years. We could not survive without you all. I will be updating this blog on a regular basis so stay tuned for additional classes, studio announcements and possibly some exciting holiday vegan recipes! And of course, maybe a few dog pictures.
